Goal !
Goal setting is the true secret to success in any area of life. Although setting a goal may seem easy, achieving it is usually another question.
Why is it like this?
Because you will never achieve your goals unless you: (1) know exactly what you want, (2) are passionate about your goal, and (3) have a solid, realistic course of action The plan is. It is this that distinguishes between vague dreams and desires,
When you are going for a goal, many obstacles and challenges will fly in your face. Here are 5 time-tested methods that will help you achieve the success you have achieved.
1. Did you know what your goal is?
Your first job is to know what your goal is. What would achieving that goal actually look like? Be as specific as possible about your desired end result. Your success will be a measure of your clarity - because an achievable goal plan cannot be built around a vague "dream".
If your goal is to create a more successful business, what will it look like? Are you thinking in terms of hiring someone else just to give you free time? Are you looking for a very specific monthly benefit? Or can your goal be best expressed in the context of a certain lifestyle?
Regardless of what you want, the best way to get it is to first clarify it in as much detail as possible. It can be hard work. But without a clear mental picture, you will never have the necessary attention to achieve your goal.
2. Be prepared to pay the "entry fee"
Success takes dedicated planning and effort. In a way, it is like building a house. In the beginning you have a difficult concept. Then you develop a complete set of plans - and you immediately move closer to success. The same is true for creating a better lifestyle, or a more successful business.
But for success there is always a * entry fee *.
entrance fees?
Creating more success in your business may mean less entertaining time. Less TV may be required to write your own book. Being close to your children may require you to adjust your work or social activities.
This is the "full glass" deal. If your life (your time) is already filled to the top, then there is no place to do anything new. The entry fee is taking time to create that new one.
3. Focus on your goal every day
I am sure you want to achieve your goal as soon as possible. Therefore clear mental focus is very important.
Continuous daily focusing requires that you "burn" the new neural pathways necessary to create your new goal. Without focusing daily, old mental habits that keep you away from your goal will continue to be handled.
This happens automatically - since these old habits go deep into your subconscious mind 24/7. The only way to override anti-subconscious success messages is to consciously focus on what you want - and build new neural networks!
That is why success is an everyday occurrence.
Re-commit to your goal every day. Do not let your goal take back a seat for daily tasks and distracting ones that will try to take over. Life will try to get in your way. Just stay, of course, and every day. Focus on your goals, and success!
4. Get Emotional
One of the most powerful tools in your "success tool box" is genuine passion for your goal.
Why passion?
Because the intense emotional desire for your goal will help you burn faster in those new neural pathways as well. Many, many scientific studies have shown that intense emotion (passion) is an important breakthrough tool.
Plus (and this is actually a * big * plus), intense passion will also help to quickly eliminate any inappropriate old "failure messages" stored in your subconscious mind.
5. Take Action Continually
In many ways, actually taking action can be the hardest step. Successful goal attainment is created by taking small actions one after the other.
The word is ACTION!
If you are committed to taking at least one small action each day, your actions will add up and make a difference. So avoid sitting in wait for that big second when everything magically "just happens."
You can make whatever you want in life. The secret is to determine what you want, then pursue it passionately. But remember - in the end, only action matters! You can't just dream about it! You have to do it!
